Information and advice

Chemicals are dangerous. Chemicals are toxic. The word ‘chemical’ is almost synonymous with ‘dangerous’ or ‘toxic’.

Often it is believed that a chemical is something man-made, and therefore not natural. Something unnatural must be very dangerous, very toxic. However, often the most toxic substances are to be found in poisonous mushroom - fly agaricnature. It is also true that many ‘natural’ substances, like water, oxygen and (table) salt are not immediately ‘very dangerous’. But for these the basic principle applies: too much is dangerous (toxic).

What makes a substance dangerous is its use by man, especially when the user is not aware of the hazards and risks involved.

The ultimate means to limit hazards is creating awareness in users. Awareness can be achieved by transfer of knowledge.
With Beltox Consultancy you will acquire a wide range of varied knowledge. For additional information, different means and a good network can be utilized.
